Contributor Terms of Service

These terms govern the YPAI contributor platform and website accounts. Enterprise engagements and customer data are governed by their own contracts (Statement of Work, Data Processing Agreement, dataset licences), not by these terms. The data-contribution licence in Section 6 applies to contributions made through the contributor platform only. See how YPAI processes customer and project data.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the YPAI platform, website, or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Services

YPAI provides AI data and AI implementation services to business clients, and operates a contributor platform for AI data collection, annotation, and related work. Work on the contributor platform includes, but is not limited to:

  • Voice and audio data recording
  • Image and video data collection
  • Data annotation and labeling
  • Translation and transcription services
  • Quality assurance and review tasks

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts to use our services. By registering, you represent that you meet these requirements.

4. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

5. Contributor Obligations

As a contributor on our platform, you agree to:

  • Complete tasks according to provided guidelines and quality standards
  • Submit only original work that you have the right to provide
  • Maintain confidentiality of any proprietary information
  • Not share account access or task details with third parties
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

6. Data Contribution

By contributing data through our platform (including voice recordings, images, videos, or other content), you:

  • Grant YPAI and its clients a perpetual, worldwide license to use the data for AI training and development
  • Confirm you have all necessary rights and consents to provide such data
  • Understand the data may be used in commercial AI products and services
  • Acknowledge that data may be processed, modified, and combined with other data

7. Payment Terms

Compensation for completed tasks is determined by the specific project requirements. Payment details, including rates and schedules, will be communicated for each project. YPAI reserves the right to withhold payment for work that does not meet quality standards.

8. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the YPAI platform, including software, designs, and content, remain the property of YPAI. Data contributed through the platform becomes the property of YPAI or its clients as specified in project agreements.

9. Termination

YPAI may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may also close your account at any time by contacting us.

10. Limitation of Liability

YPAI provides services "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
